Our condo, in the south tower of Altamira, is located in Hutchinson Island, just minutes south of Vero Beach. We are approximately 45 minutes from the Melbourne airport, 1.5 hours from the Ft. Lauderdale airport, and 2 hours from the Orlando airport.
The Hutchinson Island and Vero Beach areas are known for secluded beaches, fine dining, a laid-back atmosphere, scuba diving, and world-class fishing. Fishing opportunities are plentiful in the ocean (e.g., marlin, sailfish, grouper, snapper, wahoo). off the beach (e.g., pompano, whiting), and in the inland waters (e.g., snook, redfish, trout). The inlet is only a two mile walk or drive away.
